Prepares supplemental, unscheduled linen orders as needed.</li><li>Completes production logs, cart-filling logs and other assigned paperwork correctly and legibly. Uses electronic \"hand-held\" devices for recording usage information to be entered into shipping/receiving software system.</li><li>Stays alert to ensure proper equipment use and to identify and report any equipment malfunctions. Operates all laundry equipment in a manner to ensure safety and minimize equipment malfunctions. Maintains a safe and clean work environment.</li><li>Provides backup to other positions in the Linen Services department, including soiled linen sorting and processing clean linen, to ensure continuous workflow and maintain adequate production levels.</li><li>Identifies ways to improve work processes and improve customer service satisfaction. Makes recommendations to supervisor, assists with implementation and monitoring of results in support of the overall goals of Linen Services and PHHS.</li><li>Stays abreast of latest developments in the laundry industry by attending meetings and in-service sessions, and integrates knowledge gained into current work practices.</li><li>Maintains knowledge of applicable rules, regulations, policies, laws and guidelines that impact Linen Services and adheres to internal controls to ensure compliance.
