Responsible for producing and serving meals in retail or patient service area or production environment.<br>2. Communicates and addresses food and nutrition issues in the assigned area.<br>3. Communicates and interacts with unit staff regarding unit food service needs.<br>4. Collects soiled trays/dishes and transports to the kitchen for cleaning.<br>5. Responsible for quality service reflected in patient, retail, sanitation and food production satisfaction survey results.<br>6. Responsible for meeting quality assurance and infection prevention standards.<br>7. Ensures self education by attending mandated in-service educational sessions and reading or studying materials that are applicable to Nutrition Services.
