{"tool":"get_job","result":{"requisitionId":"988000","client":"Parkland","title":"EKG Technician","description":"Location: Main Hospital Bldg - 2nd Floor<br><br><b>Primary Purpose</b><br><br>Performs routine and emergency EKG's per doctor's request to provide a diagnostic tool for diagnosis and treatment. This position is in the Acute Care Hospital and the hours will be 7 am to 3:30 pm.<br><br><b>Education/Experience:</b><br><ul><li>Must have completed a Medical Assistant course that includes EKG or must have six months of experience performing cardio graphic procedures.</li><li>Prefer six months in a high volume acute care hospital.</li></ul><br><b>Equivalent Education and/or Experience:</b><br><ul><li>May have an equivalent combination of education and/or experience in lieu of specific education and/or experience as stated above.</li></ul><br><b>Skills or Special Abilities</b>:<br><ul><li>Must be able to identify the proper placement of electrodes for a 12-Lead EKG.</li><li>Must be able to perform 12-Lead EKG.</li><li>Must be able to utilize the MUSE (EKG Management System) for edit of EKGs prior to physician interpretation.</li><li>Must be able to communicate effectively with patients, visitors and hospital staff.</li><li>Must be able to demonstrate a working knowledge of PC operations and the ability to use work processing and spreadsheet software in a Windows environment.</li><li>Must be able to demonstrate a working knowledge of equipment in order to monitor its general working condition.</li><li>Utilizes creativity and innovation in attaining desired outcomes.</li><li>Uses a holistic approach and persists when solving problems.</li><li>Works in a highly organized manner, capturing and attending to details as well as the bigger picture.</li><li>Acts with a sense of urgency.</li><li>Synthesizes information and shares with a larger group.</li><li>Works effectively in a fast paced and dynamic environment.</li></ul><br><br><b>Requisition ID:</b> 988000","department":"Clinical Support","departmentId":"6971ace90b11b0707b955e92","employmentType":[{"value":"Full Time"}],"datePosted":"2026-06-02T00:00:00.000Z","applyUrl":"https://wd12.myworkdaysite.com/recruiting/parklandhospital/Parkland_Careers/job/Main-Hospital-Bldg---2nd-Floor/EKG-Technician_988000/apply/autofillWithResume","attributes":[""],"recruiterAssigned":null,"address":[{"city":"Dallas","state":"TX","country":"USA","zipCode":75235,"address1":"","location":{"type":"Point","coordinates":["",""]}}],"city":"Dallas","state":"TX","zipCode":"75235","country":"USA","brandId":1037707,"createdAt":"2026-06-02T00:00:00.000Z","updatedAt":"2026-06-02T16:55:00.888Z"},"summary":"Job details for EKG Technician"}
