{"tool":"get_job","result":{"requisitionId":"986534","client":"Parkland","title":"Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist","description":"Location: Main Hospital Bldg - 2nd Floor<br><br><b>Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)- $25,000 Sign-On Bonus</b><br><br><b>Primary Purpose</b><br><br>Administers anesthesia and anesthesia-related care from pre-anesthetic patient assessment and evaluation through post-anesthetic patient follow-up, evaluation, and care, formulating and carrying out anesthetic patient care plans in collaboration/consultation with attending anesthesiologists to facilitate quality patient care, comfort, and satisfaction during diagnostic, therapeutic, and surgical procedures.<br><br><b>Minimum Specifications</b><br><br><b>Education</b><br><br><ul><li>Must be a graduate of a Nurse Anesthesia Program accredited by the Council of Nurse Anesthesia (COA) or its predecessor</li></ul><br><b>Experience</b><br><br><ul><li>Equivalent Education and/or Experience</li></ul><br><b>Certification/Registration/Licensure</b><br><br><ul><li>Must have current, valid RN license or temporary RN license from the Texas Board of Nursing, or valid Compact RN license.</li><li>Must have a current license or temporary authorization (interim approval not to exceed 120 days from date of issuance) as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) with authorization to practice as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) by the Texas Board of Nursing.</li></ul><br><b>Must have current healthcare provider CPR certification from one of the following</b><br><br><ul><li>American Heart Association</li><li>American Red Cross</li><li>Military Training Network</li><li>Must have current Advanced Cardiac Life Support Systems (ACLS) certification.</li><li>Must have a valid national certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) by the National Board of Certification & Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA).</li><li>Must meet and maintain licensing and registration requirements as delineated by the Medical Staff Bylaws, Medical Staff Rules and Regulations, and Credentialing Policies/Procedures, if any.</li></ul><br><b>Required Tests for Placement</b><br><br><b>Skills or Special Abilities</b><br><br><ul><li>Provides care to assigned patient population in accordance with the current State of Texas Nurse Practice Act, established protocols, multidisciplinary plan of care, and clinical area-specific standards.</li><li>Must be able to apply good decision-making in anesthetic patient care, demonstrate ethical norms of practice, and respect and maintain patients' rights.</li><li>Must be able to demonstrate good organizational skills and effective written and verbal communication skills in working with a diverse population of physicians, patients, patients' families, and medical staff.</li><li>Must demonstrate patient-centered/patient-valued behaviors.</li></ul><br><b>Responsibilities</b><br><br><ul><li>Maintains and implements knowledge of applicable rules, regulations, policies, laws, and guidelines that impact or govern nursing practice, and ensures the hospital and Parkland are in compliance.</li><li>Develops effective internal controls that promote adherence to applicable state/federal laws and the program requirements of accreditation agencies and federal, state, and private health plans.</li><li>Maintains and updates knowledge of sanitation, infection control, safety, supplies, equipment, and appropriate utilization of supplies and materials.</li></ul><br><br><b>Requisition ID:</b> 986534","department":"Advanced Practice","departmentId":"632cb21de491d9002ffa50bf","employmentType":[{"value":"Full Time"}],"datePosted":"2026-03-19T00:00:00.000Z","applyUrl":"https://wd12.myworkdaysite.com/recruiting/parklandhospital/Parkland_Careers/job/Main-Hospital-Bldg---2nd-Floor/Certified-Registered-Nurse-Anesthetist_986534/apply/autofillWithResume","attributes":[""],"recruiterAssigned":[""],"address":[{"city":"Dallas","state":"TX","country":"USA","zipCode":75235,"address1":"","location":{"type":"Point","coordinates":["",""]}}],"city":"Dallas","state":"TX","zipCode":"75235","country":"USA","brandId":1037707,"createdAt":"2026-03-19T00:00:00.000Z","updatedAt":"2026-04-05T07:10:01.182Z"},"summary":"Job details for Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist"}
