{"tool":"get_job","result":{"requisitionId":"986059","client":"Parkland","title":"Multi-Modality Technologist - DEXA","description":"Location: RJA Clinic: 2nd FLR BLK 700<br><br><b>Must be registered in DEXA either from ARRT or ISCD.</b><br><br><b>Shift is Monday through Friday, 7a-330p</b><br><br><b>Primary Purpose</b><br><br>Responsible for performing routine to complex quality images in at least two different modalities on a routinely scheduled basis.<br><br><b>Minimum Specifications</b><br><br><b>Education</b><br><ul><li>Must be a graduate of an accredited imaging program for their primary pathway.</li></ul><br>Examples:<br><ul><li>Magnetic Resonance Imaging</li><li>Nuclear Medicine Technology</li><li>Radiography</li><li>Sonography</li><li>Vascular Sonography</li></ul><br><b>Experience</b><br><ul><li>Must have at least 1 year imaging experience for each certified modality.</li><li>Must have one (1) year of DEXA experience per the job description.</li></ul><br><b>Certification/Registration/Licensure</b><br><ul><li>Must have a Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) certification from Texas Department of Health or Texas Medical Board (not applicable to MR, S, or VS).</li></ul><br><ul><li>Must be credentialed through ARRT, RDMS and/or CNMT.</li></ul><br>Must possess two or more imaging subspecialties:<br><ul><li>Bone Densitometry (BD) or Certified Bone Densitometry Technologist (CBDT&reg;) accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA)</li><li>Breast Sonography (BS)</li><li>Cardiovascular Interventional Radiography (CV)</li><li>Computed Tomography (CT)</li><li>Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR)</li><li>Mammography (M)</li><li>Nuclear Medicine Technology (N)</li><li>Radiography (R)</li><li>Sonography (S)</li><li>Vascular Interventional Radiography (VI)</li><li>Vascular Sonography (VS)</li></ul><br><ul><li>Must have a current Healthcare Provider <b>(BLS Level)</b> CPR course completion card prior to hire and/or placement in job from one of the following:</li></ul><br>American Heart Association<br>American Red Cross Rescuer<br>Military Training Network<br><br><b>Skills or Special Abilities</b><br><ul><li>Must be able to demonstrate time management, organizational and interpersonal skills.</li><li>Must be able to demonstrate oral and written communication skills.</li><li>Must be able to demonstrate advanced computer skills.</li><li>Must be able to demonstrate routine to complex positioning ability to achieve images which meet quality criteria.</li><li>Must be able to communicate effectively with patients, visitors and hospital staff.</li><li>Must be able to demonstrate patient centered/patient valued behaviors.</li></ul><br><br><b>Requisition ID:</b> 986059","department":"Radiology","departmentId":"69719bd165fb9b00792a1eda","employmentType":[{"value":"Full Time"}],"datePosted":"2026-03-22T00:00:00.000Z","applyUrl":"https://wd12.myworkdaysite.com/recruiting/parklandhospital/Parkland_Careers/job/RJA-Clinic-2nd-FLR-BLK-700/DEXA-Technologist_986059/apply/autofillWithResume","attributes":[""],"recruiterAssigned":[""],"address":[{"city":"Dallas","state":"TX","country":"USA","zipCode":75235,"address1":"","location":{"type":"Point","coordinates":["",""]}}],"city":"Dallas","state":"TX","zipCode":"75235","country":"USA","brandId":1037707,"createdAt":"2026-03-22T00:00:00.000Z","updatedAt":"2026-04-21T05:15:00.875Z"},"summary":"Job details for Multi-Modality Technologist - DEXA"}
